She has her grandmother’s sweet profile,

Her great-grandpa’s golden hair and twinkling blue eyes,

And her daddy’s short, stubby toes,

But when she smiles, it’s a gift all her own.

She has my need for quality time,

Her papa’s laid-back style and acts of service,

And her daddy’s insatiable curiosity.

But her smile ignites a spark that can illuminate the night.

She has her grammy’s impish giggle,

Her great-grandmother’s razor-sharp wit,

And her grandpa’s ability to solve any problem,

But when she smiles, my heart skips a beat because I see the glory of her Creator.
